What we do:

Today how we teach is equally important with what we teach our teaching methodology makes concept easy to understand and remember. We develop responsible members of the society by giving them a stimulating atmosphere so the each student develops the confidence and motivation to develop into an international citizen. The school is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi, Indian Board. The school has classes from Nursery to XII. The academic year begins in the middle of February and Final Examinations are conducted in the 3rd week of November. English is the medium of instruction throughout the school, Hindi, Nepali and Dzongkha is taught as 2nd Language. A third language is taught in the Middle School, for which an option between Hindi, Nepali and Bengali is available. Glenhill Public School does achieve cent percent results in both ICSE & ISC. We assist in acquiring of knowledge that can help take on the world and finding a launching pad for a secured future. Considerable emphasis is placed on overall development of every student’s character. To achieve this goal, all students are encouraged to actively participate in the wide range of sporting facilities and extra curricular activities that are made available to them. We try our best to offers a number of specialized services and maintain a schedule of hours that is best suited and utilized by its members.

We are one of the premium institutes of the region. Nestled at an altitude of 4350 feet, in the foothills of the Himalayas in the state of West Bengal, district - Darjeeling, India in the small and peaceful town of Kurseong Situated in the eastern Himalayas and on the western slope of a valley overlooking the Balasun River. Mount Kanchenjunga lies to the north with the plains of Siliguri to the South. It is the home to education “the ongoing and ever evolving process” catering to the ever changing needs of our students. The town of Kurseong is well connected by air and the nearest airport is Bagdogra Airport (IXB) nearly 40 kilometers and is only 1 ½ hours drive by car.  The nearest major railway station is New Jalpaiguri (NJP) nearly 48 kilometers and is only 1 ½ hours drive. The other railway station is the World heritage Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (DHR) having Kurseong as one of the main station other being Darjeeling. There are three outlets from Kurseong to Siliguri by road, Pankhabari Road, Rohini Road and the National Highway 55. Mild climate from the month of March to November. Clean fresh air with the lush evergreen flora is congenial to the growth of children.
